The air is getting cooler, the sun is setting earlier, and the colors are changing. Leaves in vibrant shades of red, yellow, and orange now adorn the trees. Fall is here, and trees are displaying brilliant colors to prove it. Photographers across the globe are capturing the beauty from above by use of aerial drones. Check out some of our favorite bird’s-eye-view shots of the fall foliage from Dronestagram.

A gorgeous photo of the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi in Italy's Umbria region, rising above the mist. It also scooped top prize in the 2016 International Drone Photography Contest, co-organized by Dronestagram and National Geographic.
